Funeral services were held Monday morning, September 15 at Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Presley, 90, of Lebanon.
A veteran of the US Army (World War II) and a heavy equipment operator, Mr. Presley died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at Quality Care Nursing Home.
He was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted by Brother Kenneth Bowen. Interment was at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: children Buddy Presley, Roy (Barbara) Presley, Kenneth (Judy) Presley, Tommy (Faye) Presley, Jack Presley, Joyce (Harold) Maynard, Marilyn (Jim) Hutchinson, Janice Arnold, Cynthia (Mark) Murphy, Marsha Presley and Kathy Presley; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Presley is preceded in death by his parents Dock and Nancy Adeline Presley; wife Ruby Presley; son Ronnie Presley; daughter Betty Pruitte; grandson Jonathan Presley and granddaughter Tina Pruitte.
Family members served as pallbearers.
