Clifford Earl Magnuson, 66, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota died Saturday, October 25, 2014 at his home.

Clifford was born on May 31, 1948 the eldest son of Donald and Selma (Klimp) Magnuson in Alexandria, Minnesota. He was raised in Henning and Owatonna, Minnesota. As a young man he moved to Minneapolis, where he worked various jobs. Clifford met E.C. Pryor in 1983 and moved to Detroit Lakes that November. They had two children together and Clifford also became a stepfather. He worked for Swift Turkey. In 1989, he started to work at WE Fest. Clifford worked as a grounds keeper and helped take part in the building of the Northwoods. He later became the campground manager.

Clifford truly enjoyed working at We Fest and listening to country music. He would make friends where ever he went. Clifford also enjoyed fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and working on his truck.

Clifford is survived by his significant other, E.C. Pryor of Detroit Lakes, MN; children, Ashley (Justin) Sonneberg of Dent, MN; Brikken Magnuson of Detroit Lakes, MN; Stephanie (John-Mike) Marquardt of Durham, NC; Nathan (Rachael) Magnuson of Perham, MN; Melissa (Mike) Hedlund of Frazee, MN; Seth Peterson of Detroit Lakes, MN; Donald Porter of Perham, MN; seven grandchildren, three brothers, Clayton Magnuson of Clitherall, MN; Craig Magnuson of Battle Lake, MN; Charles ( Karen) Magnuson of Chaska, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren and brother, Curt Magnuson.
