Harry L Cullins, son of Abigail J. "Abey" (Butler) and George Cullins, was born 10 July 1883 and grew up on their farm in West Union Township, Fayette County, Iowa.


Apparently, his parents separated sometime after the 1905 census. In 1910, Harry lived with his mother Abey who was listed on the census as a "widow" and a farmer. In 1915, Harry still lived with his mother while his father lived alone. George died in 1919.


Harry Cullins, 74, died 1 March 1958 at the Fayette County Home, Westfield Township, Fayette, Iowa; burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, West Union, Fayette, Iowa.


The death certificates of George, Aby, and Harry Cullins report their burials in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The photo shows the large Cullins headstone with an inscription for siblings Hattie and Charles Cullins who had died while their parents were still living. Three of the small markers may belong to George, Aby, and son Harry.
