Bernice B. Martin, 102, formerly of Waukegan, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Parkside Manor in Kenosha. Born January 8, 1915 in Waukegan, she was the daughter of Stanley and Vincenta (Macijauskas) Kasper.

Before she was married, Bernice worked at Griesehleger Tannery in Waukegan. After the tannery, she along with her husband Peter Bioletto operated and owned Bioletto's Tavern on 12th & McAlister from 1955 to 1968. Bernice was the First President of the Mother's Club at St. Bart's Church; she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club of Lake County, St. Dismas Women's Club, Waukegan Senior's Club, and US Steel Retiree's Club. She loved to play cards, knit, and crochet.

She is survived by her children Mary Ann Zorzy of Grayslake, Terry (Jack) Terlap of Wilmot, WI, Pete (Janet) Bioletto of Tempe, AZ, and Jeanette Walkanoff of North Chicago; step-daughter Bonnie (Rich) Cornish of Carnegie, PA; twelve grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and her sister Violet Rukstales of Wadsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband's Peter Bioletto, Xavier Dauriac, and Clarence Martin; her brother Edward Kasper; her sister Dorothy Kasper and sons-in-law William Zorzy and George Walkanoff.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am at St. Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL, and a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00am. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bernice's name to Billy's Place, 16165 N. 83rd Ave Suite 200, Peoria, AZ 85382.
