Boliver Lewis Light, son of George and Rachel Light, was born October 18, 1876, near Clay City, Ind., and departed this life at his home near Munden on April 20, 1940, at the age of63 years, 6 months and 2 days.

At the age of one he came with his parents to Beatrice, where they lived a year, then moving to Narka where he grew to manhood.

He was united in marriage to Dora Jefferson on December 9, 1903, and to this union seven children were born. One son, Ivan preceded him in death on May 20, 1935. They made their home in and around Narka until 1918, when the family moved to Rogers, Ark., living there until 1930, when they moved to Munden, where they had since resided and he had been in business.

He joined the Methodist church while at Rogers, later transferring his membership to the Methodist church in Munden. He was always faithful in having the church comfortable and was constantly making improvement and repairs for the Munden church adding to the convenience of others. In the church, his home and in almost every home there is some reminder of his skill as a workman for with Boliver, a thing worth doing at all was worth doing well. His sudden going came as a severe shock to all and he will be greatly missed from the community and church life.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, three daughters, and three sons, Mrs. Vera Koch of Boulder City, Nev., Mrs. Velda Heiner, San Bernardino, Cal., John of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mary, Don and Kenneth of the home, four grandchildren, four sisters, four brothers, besides other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church in Munden Wednesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. F. L. Courter. Interment was made in the Ida cemetery.
