Funeral services for Ruth Roxanna Hornaday Ingmand, 104, Appleton, Wisconsin, will be Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m at Nelson Boylan Funeral Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah, Wisconsin, assisted with arrangements. In Leu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the First Christian Church in Red Oak. Mrs. Ingmand died Friday, May 30, 1997, at Rennes Health Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Ingmand was the older child of Mary and John Hornaday of Udell, Iowa. She received her degree in 1926 a a registered nurse from the Iowa Methodist School in Des Moines. She married Dr. Joseph E. Ingmand in 1932, residing in Red Oak for 65 years until moving to Rennes Health Center in 1990.
Survivors include her son, John E. (Patricia) Ingmand, of Neenah, Wisconsin, stepson, Dr. Eugene (Frances) Ingmand of Red Oak; three grandchildren, Barbara (Thomas) Wasmoen of Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Scott (Lisa) Ingmand of Neenah, Wisconsin, Sarah (Paul) Tuckner of Ramsey, Minnesota; 6 great grandchildren, Chelsea and Steven Wasmoen, Ryan and Jaclyn Ingmand, and Max and Samantha Tuckner; three nieces and three nephews.
