Pelion - Ronnie D. Ballington, 68, of Pelion, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at his home. He was born August 26, 1945, in Columbia. Ronnie loved camping and fishing and lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wooten Ballington; children, Todd D. (Patty) Ballington, Marion "Marty" Ballington, Crystal (Troy) Rodgers, Amy (Daniel) Rose, Jessie (Rogers) Morin; five grandsons, four granddaughters, one great-grandson; his brother, Roy (Marie) Ballington; and a nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Harley Pascal and Ruby Miller Ballington, along with a nephew, Wade Ballington. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Red Bank Baptist Church in Lexington. The family will receive friends at the home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements. © The State, Columbia, SC, 13 Jun 2014
