SPRINGFIELD - The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield for Eleanor I. Schellhorn of Springfield, who died Jan. 26 of age-related causes at age 85. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Schellhorn was born Feb. 28, 1921, in Reubens, Idaho, to Arthur and Grace Loper Willson. She married Fred Schellhorn on Jan. 17, 1941, in Eugene. He died Aug. 22, 1985.
She was a homemaker and had worked as a salesperson at Kaufman's Dress Shop in Springfield.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Wilson of Springfield; a sister, Frances Pedersen of Springfield; three grandchildren and four great-grand-children. A daughter, Judy Baker, died in 2004.
Private burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Springfield.
