Frances C. Marshall, 69, of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017. Formerly of Mount Laurel, NJ, she had been a Ft. Myers resident since 2005. She was born December 6, 1947 in New York City, the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth (née Utke) Gangi.
Fran was an avid golfer, gardener and loved to watch Law and Order reruns. She retired in 2006 after working for over 30 years in the banking industry with her last position being an SVP in Information and Technology. Fran was greatly involved in her HOA at Emerson Square where she served as the first Board President and was active on the Social Committee.
Fran is survived by her sister, Patricia; her two dogs, the loves of her life, Rudi and Cocoa; her niece, Donna (Michael) Detata; her nephew Glenn (Cristine) Davis; and her great nieces and nephews, Michael, Garrett and Ellamarie Detata and Anna and Emma Davis. Also surviving are many close friends in the Emerson Square Community.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Thomas Cavanaugh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, 19680 Cypress View Drive, Ft. Myers. Visitation for family and friends will take place at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
