Edith Sneed Hutcheson

Edith Sneed Hutcheson, age 83, of Soddy Daisy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 8, 2017.
Edith was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. She loved her Lord and Savior, her church and her grandkids. Edith was a member of Sequoyah Church of God, where she played the piano. She also enjoyed playing the piano and several different Hardees for gospel singing.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Al Franklin Hutcheson; parents, John and Mollie Sneed.
She is survived by her four sons, Donney (Janis) Hutcheson, Frankie (Diane) Hutcheson, Mark (Kelia) Hutcheson and Michael (Amanda Gilbert) Hutcheson; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Julie Ruth Leffew.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 pm on Tuesday, April 11, at the North Chapel.
A Celebration of Edith's life will follow at 4 pm on Tuesday at the North Chapel with Jim Shaffer and Gilbert Bratton, Jr. officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Ellen Locher Breast Center, 605 Glenwood Dr., Suite 100, Chattanooga, TN 37404 or St. Jude Children's Research Center, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
