Karl J. Bauer Jr., 65, of Billings, Mont., died Friday at Veterans Administration Hospital of Sheridan, Wyo.
Bauer last worked as a ranch hand in Billings.

He was a Korean War veteran of the Marine Corps.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Karl Jacob and Mary Ruth Banzhoff Bauer.

He is survived by a daughter, Brenda Sue Bauer, address unknown; two sisters, Clara Warfel of Holtwood and Mary Ellen Butler of Quarryville; and two brothers, Kenneth and Kerwin, both of Holtwood.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Horace.
