Over the years, Celia had been employed at the Grand Union Supermarket and at Union-Carbide in Bennington. Her last employment was at Stanley Tools in Shaftsbury.
She enjoyed bowling and bowled in the Girls Green Mountain League on Wednesday evenings at Bennington Lanes, and had bowled in many Vermont State Tournaments over the years. She also enjoyed bowling with the Senior Citizens on Friday afternoons.
Survived by one son; 2 daughters and their spouses; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law
Predeceased by two daughters; Barbara Leonard and Corrine Tidd, and her sisters and brothers; Alice Wilcox, Agnes Barber, John Mears and Albert Mears.
