James Harrison Wilbraham Sr., 63, of Meadow Rd.,West Hartford. died Monday in St. Francis Hospital. He was born in New Bedford, Mass. and lived in West Hartford 26 years. He was employed at the Travelers Insurance Co. 46 yeas, and at his retirement in 1964, he was assistant superintendent of the Casualty Payroll Audit Department. He was a communicant of the church of St. Helena in West Hartford, a member of the Governor's Horse Guard, Troop B.
He leaves his wife, Mrs Jeanette Nero Wilbraham; a son, James H. Wilbraham Jr. of West Hartford; a daughter, Mrs. David C. Mahoney Jr. (Jean) of West Hartford; a brother, John R. Wilbraham of Washington D.C.; two sisters, Mrs Frederick E. Atchison of West Hartford and Mrs William Robinson of Stratford and eight grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery.
