She graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1956.
On Oct. 15, 1958, she married John Ganter at St. Mary's Church in Peshtigo.
She worked at Scott Paper Mill and Neverman Oil Company until taking time off to raise her three children. Later, she worked at Peshtigo National Bank until retirement.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening and cooking, but mostly time with her family and grandchildren at their retirement home in Silver Cliff.
She is survived by three children: Curt (Carrie) Ganter of Green Bay, WI; Mike Ganter of California and Dan (Kathy) Ganter of Peshtigo, WI;
brothers and sisters: Barbara Conover, Tony (Sue) Matecki, Joan Matecki, Len (Sandy) Matecki, Eileen (Einor) Orsett, Mary Linda (Jim) Booker and Annette (Cary) Smith; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John; step-father, Francis Dupuis; in-laws, Anton and Viola Ganter; grandparents, Vincent and Mary Ruskiewicz and John and Pauline Matecki; aunts, Wanda (Stanley) Nogalski (Dan) Dolan, Isabel (Tony) Wochinski and Sunny (Jim) Cherney; uncles, Raymond (Alice) Matecki, Joe (Dollie) Ruskiewicz and Stanley (Sophie) Ruskiewicz and brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Ardene Ganter.
Per her wishes, a private family service will be held in Spring.
