Mrs. Mary Josephine Beam Evans, of Silver Creek, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 12, 2017.
Mrs. Evans was born in Blount County, Alabama daughter of the late John William Beam and the late Annie Lemming Beam. She was married to her beloved husband, Turner Cicero Evans, on May 20, 1944, and was preceded in death by him on May 13, 2010. Mrs. Evans was also preceded in death by five sisters, Ruby Chambers, Olivia Chumley, Buford Garner, Elnora Battles and Mablene Jenkins, and by two brothers, Sherman Beam and Henry Beam. She worked at Celanese and later for Lindale Laundry.
