DEAD SINCE MONDAY, ANDREW BRIDGE IS FOUND ONLY TODAY

DISCOVERED IN FRIENDS' HOME LYING ON BED

Harry Martin Finds Body When He Goes Upstairs to Get Additional Cover---Non-Appearance Had Puzzled Acquaintances

After his friends had lost trace of his whereabouts for the past week, Andrew Bridge, son of Mrs. Gertrude Bridge, of this place, was early this morning found dead in bed at the home of Harry M. Martin at whose home Bridge had been staying for some time. He had been dead since Monday, is the opinion of physicians.

Unconscious of the fact that any one was in his home, Mr. Martin made preparations to sleep on a couch down stairs, but finding that he had not sufficient covers he went up stairs and into the room where Bridge was lying. Thinking that Bridge was sleeping, he called to him but received no reply and desiring to find out what was wrong, he approached the bed and saw that Bridge was dead . Strangely effected by the discovery of the dead body of his friend, Martin walked the streets until 6 o'clock this morning when he met Ciuncilman (sic) Faber and notified ham of the discovery. The men then went to the home of Officer Johns, told him of the find. Chief of Police Fought was then notified and the mer (sic) then went to the Martin home.

The body was later removed to the undertaking establishment of H. A. Ewing where Coroner Deardorff held an investigation at l0 o'clock this morning The evidence produced showed that the young man had died a natural death.

Among the witnesses heard at the inquest were Chief Fought, Patrolman Johns, H. A. Ewing who was called in to take care of the body, Harry Martin and Councilman Faber.

The deceased is survived by his mother, two sisters, Mrs. John King and Viola and a brother, William, of this place.
