ASBURY R. BEANS, 68, dropped dead at his home, 217 Summer Street, at noon today from a heart atttack. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his widow; one son, Clyde; and two daughters, Mrs. Clara Smith, Rouzerville, Pa.; and Mrs. Rosa Stonebraker, this city; sister, Mrs. Mollie Updyke, Warren, Va.; and two brothers, Flava and Amos Beans, Louden, Va.

Funeral services at the house. Burial in Rose Hill.
