Thaddeus Constantine Lee (went by Lee) Sink was the eldest of eleven known children of Andrew Hege Sink (1834-1893) and Gazelle Catherine Shoaf Sink (1847-1918), who married 14 Aug 1866 at Davidson County, North Carolina.

Lee married Sallie F. Motsinger (1870-1972) on 03 Apr 1896 at Davidson County, North Carolina. Lee and Sallie were the parents of five known children, namely:

1. Lena Beatrice Sink Warner (1897-1989)
2. Wilbur Lee Sink (1898-1984)
3. Andrew Clive Sink (1900-1986)
4. Florence Gazelle Sink Roach (1904-2000)
5. Joseph Edwin Sink (1907-1971)
