Our dad was a successful businessman and will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to help those in need. Everyone he met was blessed by his generosity and knew him as a true friend.
He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Scottish and York Rites. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, creating unique inventions, and helping others.
Sherman is survived by his wife Patsy and his children Kevin (Connie); Audry (Brett) Wood; Jennifer (Justin) Call; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Sammy Kay and John Kay and sisters Pearl Ann Holdaway (Larry) and Helen Higby. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Maureen Baxter.
The family is deeply grateful and appreciative to the many friends, family, and caregivers who have provided so much love and support.
The family will hold a private service.
