George Edward Sonny Voyles, 70, of 644 Valley Rd., passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2003. He was born May 10, 1933 in Polk County and was a member of Jackson Chapel Methodist Church. He was retired from Goodyear Mills and the retired owner of Sonny's Barber Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Gladys Shaw Voyles. Survivors include his wife, Jane Garmon Voyles of Cedartown; daughter, Vida Jackson of Cedartown; sister, Ruth Woodell of Alpharetta; two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Don Underwood officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
