Jeanette Lambert, age 83, of Idabel, OK passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Idabel. She was born on April 8, 1934 in the Redland Community, OK, the daughter of Jack Preston Lambert and Irene Citty Lambert Grinage.
Jeanette was a homemaker. She carried a battle axe at Southern Abstract Title Company in Idabel for over 60 years retiring as manager in 2014. Jeanette enjoyed genealogy, collecting antiques and going to garage sales. She was a member of the Redland Church of Christ and was a lifetime resident of the area. After her retiremnet, she spent many hours at Redland Cemetery, finding lost headstones and making sure she had folks linked together.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Howard Hairrell of Valliant, OK; daughters and son-in-law, Nowita and John Martin of Idabel, OK and Susie Hairrell of the Redland Community, OK; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends.
