William "Dale" Bashline, 74, of Broomfield, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 following a prolonged illness. He was born September 29, 1942 and graduated from Louisville High School in 1960. Dale became a volunteer Firefighter before beginning his career with North Metro Fire Rescue District where he served for more than 20 years. Survivors include his daughters Donna and Laura; son-in-law Gary; grandchildren: Aaron, Tyler, Amy, Kayla and Isabelle; and a great-granddaughter Layla; brother Terrill and sister Bonnie. He was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle; brother Darryl; and son David. A memorial service will take place on April 26th from 10:00 am to noon at the North Metro Fire Rescue District 101 Spader Way, Broomfield, CO. Guest speakers and stories are welcomed! In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dale's memory to the American Lung Association in support of research for COPD.
