Jeremy Charles LaBella, 27, of Washington, died Sunday, February 4, 2007, as a result of injuries sustained while fighting a fire.Prior to becoming a firefighter for the city of Washington, he was a volunteer firefighter for 12 years with Canton Township Volunteer Fire Department, where he had served as secretary and captain. He had only been on the force for 2 months at the time of his death.
