Thomas was from Rathfriland, County Down, Ireland. He proudly served as the Worshipful Master of an Orange lodge, though many people in Ireland weren't very enamoured of his fellow Orangemen, since they opposed the Home Rule bill that was just going to the British Parliament in April of 1912. Thomas was travelling to Canada on the Titanic, going to join his brother Waddell, who worked on a ranch in Alberta, Canada. He was 31 years old when he perished. My Grandfather's second cousin. He was born in County Down, Ireland in 1881. His brother, Waddell, had emmigrated three years earlier to work on a ranch hand near Gleichen, Alberta, Canada and he was going to join him there. My Grandfather, Arba C. Morrow was to meet him at the pier and put him up for a few days till he arranged his travel to Alberta.

He boarded the Titanic at Queenstown as a third class passenger (ticket number 372622, £7 15s).

He died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
