GEORGE MONROE ADAMS
Funeral services for George Monroe Adams, 68 years old, who died at his home, 1148 Prospect Avenue Monday morning following a short illness, will be conducted at the residence at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon with Dr. M. E. Dodd, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under direction of McCook Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Adams, a former Virginian, was a well known rig building contractor having been one of the first contractors in the Bull Bayou Field. He has resided in Shreveport for the past 12 years.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife:
