ONEONTA - Phyllis B. Carvin Lull, 92, of Oneonta passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the A.O. Fox Nursing Home.
She was born November 9, 1924 in Oneonta the daughter of the late Ralph and Marian (Bartlett) Baker.
Phyllis married Royce Carvin on April 4, 1946 in West Oneonta. Royce predeceased her on May 1, 1986.
For many years, Phyllis was a seamstress at the Oneonta Dress Company.
She was a jack of all trades and a master of none.
In 1991 she married Bernard Jay Lull who predeceased her February 26, 2014.
Phyllis is survived by her four sons, William and Rose Carvin, TN, Douglas and Emily Carvin, Milford, David Carvin, Laurens and Michael Carvin, Laurens; 15 grandchildren; as well as several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Royce and Wayne Carvin; and two brothers, Ralph E. "Bud" and Daniel R. Baker.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A service to celebrate the life of Phyllis B. Lull will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Cook Cemetery, West Oneonta.
