He was born May 14, 1922, in Greentown, OH and"had worked as a long distance truck driver for Roadway and retired in 1982 from Chief Freightlines of Tulsa, OK."He was a member of"Amherst Community Brethern In Christ Church, Retired Teamsters Local # 24 Club,"Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, Massillon Community # 4, Clinton Lodge # 47, Hiram Chapter # 18, and Shannon Council. He served in the Navy during World War II where he was on a LCI in the South Pacific. He is survived by wife of 52 years, Patricia Breckenridge of Massillon; two sons, Kevin R. Breckenridge and Michael S. Breckenridge, both of Massillon; two sisters, Betty Carnahan of Ravenna, and Evelyn Werstler of Greentown, OH."He was preceded in death by his parents Cletus and Maggie (Keller) Breckenridge, and a brother, Ervin Breckenridge. Funeral services will be at Heitger Funeral Service - Jackson Chapel on Monday, April"28, 2003 at 11 a.m."with Pastor Calvin Hamblin Jr. officiating."Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, N. Canton."Visitation will be from 9:30 -11 a.m. Monday at Heitger Funeral Service - Jackson Chapel. There will be a Masonic Service at 9:15 a.m. prior to visitation at the funeral home.
