ABATA, Mitchell Robert July 6, 1959 to June 5, 2003. He died, much too soon, of natural causes, in the home of a good family friend in Wyoming. He was a genuinely good man; a sensitive and loving son, a good brother and a loyal friend. Mitch is survived by his grieving parents, Patricia and Vic, by his sisters, Deborah, Valerie and Sheila, by his brother, David, and by many good friends. A self-taught artist and history buff, he had multiple interests and talents. He could create or repair almost anything, except his damaged heart. Mitch was big of stature and big of heart and perhaps too gentle for this world. In death, his spirit joins that of his beloved dog and best friend, "Buddy". We will always love and keep Mitch in our hearts. In his memory, be good to each other, while you can and "Go St. Louis Rams and S.F. Giants".
