Oetha A. Jones, 69, of Medora and formerly of Indianapolis, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at her daughter's home in Medora.

She was a member of the Medora Christian Church and Medora Eastern Star. She had worked at several Indianapolis hospitals, including Methodist Hospital, Winona Hospital, and Wishard Hospital as emergency room registrar for several years.

Born April 10, 1937, in Medora, she was the daughter of Britz E. and Elva Marie (Pollock) Davis, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters: one of Medora, and another of Oklahoma City, Okla.; four stepchildren: three stepdaughters of Indianapolis; a stepson of Cleveland; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and three step-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and until time for service Tuesday. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.

Memorials may be given to Southern Care Inc., 1923 S. Liberty Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403.
