AMORY - D.B. "Daucy" Glasgow, 87, died Feb. 7, 2007, at Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. Services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory with the Revs. Tommy Whaley and Bobby Cleveland officiating. Burial will follow at Pontotoc Memorial Gardens in Pontotoc. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Sunday until service time. Mr. Glasgow was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Pontotoc to the late Albert B. and Minnie P. McCoy Glasgow. He had lived in Tupelo and Amory for the past 22 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II in the European Theatre, and he received a Purple Heart. He was a longtime contractor with Gravlee Lumber before retiring. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lorene Petty; brothers, Audley, Earl, Autry, Lonnie, Dudley and Winfred Glasgow; and sister, Gatha Yeager. He is survived by his wife, Sheron Glasgow of Columbus; son, Thomas E. Glasgow of Columbus; daughter, Jo Ann Glasgow Roach of Des Moines, Iowa; sister, Kathryn Smiley of Indiana; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Shane and Patrick Glasgow; Marty Huffman, Jimmy and James Riley Hunter, William Sanford, James Bethany and Claxton Cook. Memorials may be made to Mt.
