Born in Greenwood County, March 1, 1896, she was a daughter of the late Parker and Mamie Parker Arnold.
She was a member of St. Paul AME Church, the Ladies Aid Society No. 98 and the Senior Citizens Club of Cokesbury.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Dean of Philadelphia, Pa.; and a brother, John H. Arnold of Chicago, Ill.
Services will be announced by Percival-Tompkins Service of Greenwood.
The family is at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Annie Lee Arnold, Route 2, Freetowne Road, Cokesbury.

HODGES - Services for Mrs. Gertrude Arnold Adams will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Evening Star Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ernest L. Cain officiating, assisted by the Rev. Morris Ransom.
Pallbearers will be the trustees of St. Paul AME Church.
Flower bearers will be the stewardesses of St. Paul AME Church.
The family will receive friends tonight at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Annie Lee Arnold, Route 2, Freetown Road, Cokesbury.
Percival-Tompkins Service of Greenwood is in charge.
