" Elizabeth LaNina Emerson was born in Muskatine, Ia., March 23, 1856, and died April 9, 1936, at the age of 80 years and 14 days.

She came with her parents to Missouri about 1864. She was united in marriage to Geo. J. Bailey of Oregon December 18, 1870. To this union one child was born, Hattie LaNina Keaster. Her husband preceded her in death December 21, 1921.

September 2, 1925 she was married to Alex A. Gool, of Boise, Idaho, who died in February, 1929. Mrs. Gool has made her home with her daughter since May 16, 1929. She united with the Christian church in Mound City in the year of 1866.

She leaves to mourn her death, the daughter, Mrs. Keaster of Bigelow; one sister, Mrs. Mollie Miller of Craig; four brothers, A.C., W.N., H.D., and Roy Emerson, all of Boise, Idaho; 5 grandchildren, Charles Keaster of California, Mrs. B.P. Hunt, Fred and Ralph B. Keaster and Mrs. D.O. Moore and 6 great-grandchildren.

We pray our loss may be her gain to that beautiful home where there will be no more sorrow or death forever.

Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by L.A. Hunt. Interment was made in the Mound City cemetery."
