Wallace K. McDonald (Wally), 83, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Sunny Ridge Convalescent in Nampa. He was born on January 22, 1933, to Bee K. McDonald and Lavern McDonald in Dietrich, Idaho.

The funeral service will be held at 9 am on August 17, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 607 West Locust Lane, Nampa. Burial will follow the funeral at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise.

Wally served in the U.S Navy from Aug 1951 to Aug 1955. He was employed at Southern California Rapid transit district for 29 years. After retiring, he worked as a manager in different bldg apts. He enjoyed nature, driving, and cooking.

Wally was married to Rosa G. McDonald on December 26, 1992; they were married 23 years.

Wally is survived by his wife, Rosa, son Dale McDonald and his wife Kathryn, three stepchildren, Richard, Hilda R., Robert; three grandchildren, Dale Jr., Carrie, Nataly, and step-grandchildren; and his two sisters Nettie McDonald and Hazel McDonald.

Wally is preceded in death by his parents; as well as his brothers Alex McDonald, Amos McDonald and Roy McDonald.
The family of Wally McDonald wishes to thank friends, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as Sunny Ridge.
