BALES, Charles Louis 74, entered into rest on March 10, 2017.

He was the son of the late James M. and Delphie "Watson" Bales.

He was born in Leitchfield, KY May 20, 1942

He was a retired Master Sergeant with the Air Force. He had also worked in management with American Builders and Circuit City.

Mr. Bales is survived by his wife, Eleanor Rose Agee-Bales; a stepson, Matthew Burdett Agee; a step-grandson, Matthew Hunter Agee; two sisters, Brenda Stark (Dick) and Carol Spurlock (Joe); nieces and nephews, Sherri Chasteen (Jeff) and Brian Spurlock (Kelly), Mike Stark (Brandy) and Lori Laman (Troy).


His funeral will be Tuesday at 12pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visiting will be Monday from 4pm until 8pm.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Kentucky Humane Society or the
