He married Beverly Pfister on 10/23/1948 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church. She died on 1/23/2013.
He served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. As a young man, he was employed with the New York Railroad in Canton, NY before moving to Watertown. He retired from Productions Unlimited as a purchasing agent.
He was a member of the Italian American Civic Association and the American Legion Post #61. He enjoyed having coffee at Arby’s with his friends in the morning, reading the Sunday newspaper, crossword puzzles, bowling and playing baseball.
Surviving was a son, Timothy (Susan); a daughter; Suzanne Belcher; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Kathie); a sister, Pauline Tison; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Pfister; and a sister-in-law, Natalie Thomas.
His son, Michael J., died on 8/14/2013.
