Last Rites For Mrs. Cooney to Be Saturday
Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm Saturday at the Sixth Avenue Christian Church for Mrs Opal May Cooney, who died in a Havre hospital about 6:30am Wednesday.

Mrs Cooney, after spending most of her life in Havre, left about five years ago for Spokane, WA, returning only recently to Havre. She had been hospitalized for the last four months.

Born Oct 1, 1911 at Kansas City, MO, the statistician was married in Havre in 1938 to Walter Cooney, who survives.

Also surviving are their two children, Pearl, 14, and Franklin, 13; and her father, Ernest O Hatler of Havre.
Mrs Cooney was a member of the Christian church, and of the Royal Neighbors of America lodge.
