Jim was the third child of six of Jan Zator and Anna Mosiur. He was educated at St. Adalbert's School. He married Helen Lewandowski on 5/24/1929 at St. Casimir's. Jim would become a small business man in Crystal Lake, Indiana and in Chicago around 83rd. St. These establishments were bars and small grocery stores. He and Helen managed through WWII with all the rationing restrictions.
