Armando G. Lopez, 74, born in Baytown Tx, passed away on September 13, 2005. He is preceded in death by his parents, Celestino Lopez, Sr. and Marianita Lopez and sister Antonia Loredo. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Maria Lopez, son Dave Lopez and daughters Teresa Garcia, Rebecca Lopez, Anna Spears, April Lopez, and Francesca Lopez. He is also survived by 6 brothers, Abelardo (Baytown, Tx), Alfred and Dominga (Plano, Tx), Arthur and Alice (Houston, Tx), Celestino Jr. and Alice (Port Neches, Tx), and Joe and Betty (Ozawkie, Kansas). Armando had 14 grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Laborer's Union Local No# 652 for over 50 years, where he was secretary-treasurer for 16 years. He maintained many close friendships with other members throughout his life. After his retirement, he enjoyed working at Post Elementary School. Armando enjoyed dancing, casinos, and volunteering his time at the Laborer's Union. ---Taken from the OC Register.
