Elmer G. Bingham was born in Jackson County, KY on January 4, 1934. He departed this life on April 27, 2017, being 83 years, 3 months and 23 days of age. He was the son of the late Henry & Mary (Madden) Bingham.
Elmer is survived by his wife of 63 years JoAnn (Shepherd) Bingham; one son, Randy (Connie) Bingham of Tyner, KY; three daughters, Kathy (Keith) Hood of Richmond, KY, Sally (John) Hornsby of Tyner, KY and Anita Bingham of Tyner, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; one brother, Eldon Bingham; and three sisters, Lois Burke, Myrtle Summers and Arlie Morgan.
In addition to his parents, Elmer was also preceded in death by two brothers, Estill and Edward and three sisters, Edna Bogart, Anna Mae Richards and Lola Ingram. Funeral service 1:00PM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Farmer and Bro. Kevin Cooper officiating. Burial to follow in the Bingham Cemetery. Pallbearers Ashley Hornsby, Jeff Bingham, Johnny Hornsby, Keith Hood, Greg Bingham and Henry Thompson. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
