Roger Kevin Stevens was born October 17, 1970 in Houston, Texas to Roger “Tex” Stevens and Carolyn Sue Stevens. Kevin attended school at Mount Carmel High School in Houston, Texas where he excelled in football as well as track and field. During his younger years in life he competed in the Junior Olympics and Jesse Owens National Championship. He later went on to become a paramedic and had the chance to actually make a difference in the lives of so many others. Kevin also played a major part in the real estate/vacation rental business with his wife. After becoming a family man Kevin furthered his career by becoming a software engineer who preferred the term, “ethical hacker” and graduated with Honors from the University of Advancing Technology.

Kevin was the most amazing person a family could ever want. He was an exceptional father, a wonderful husband of 14 years, a dedicated son, and brother. His family meant the world to him, and if it were up to him, he would have never chosen to leave them. The day that Kevin left this world changed the lives of so many people who loved and cherished him. He has accomplished many things in his life, but his most important accomplishments are his two beloved and beautiful children, Hunter and Hanna. Kevin was a man who loved to explore. His passions were being on the water, fishing with both his children and wife, as well as hunting and spending time on his family’s ranch with his father and mother. He touched the hearts of so many people and will never be forgotten.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father and best friend, Roger “Tex” Stevens, and his loving grandparents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Stevens; his son, Hunter Stevens; and his daughter, Hanna Stevens. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Stevens of Early, Texas; and sister, Kelly JoAnne Holt and husband, Stephen of League City, Texas. He is survived by his niece, Savannah Kelly Holt, and nephew, Stephen Chase Holt. He will be greatly missed by his family, his children, extended family, and friends.

Kevin’s family will receive visitors beginning at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 19th, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Per his wishes, Kevin will be cremated following the service
