Barbara Joan Yantzi age 82, of Arab passed away Thursday April 27, 2017, at her residence. Mrs. Yantzi was born on Jan. 14, 1935, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Ralph Floyd and Kathryn Lorraine Sanders Yantzi.
She moved to Arab from Liberty, Missouri about 24 years ago. She was a member of Arab First United Methodist Church, Women’s Circle 2 at the Church and belonged to Friends of the Library. She was involved with the Young-in-Heart Group at Church and was an avid reader. She enjoyed travelling especially in their motor home.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Dean Yantzi, Brother: Jerry Yantzi and Great Granddaughter: Emma Marks.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday May 4, 2017, at Gober Funeral Chapel at 4 PM. Visitation with the family will be from 3 PM – 4 PM.
