A devoted father, Mr. Mercurio is mourned by his daughter Vanessa, and her mother Deborah DiBisceglia Eastman of Medway; sister Lorraine Carvalho of Woburn, brother Michael and wife Nancy of Arizona, and friend Judith Torrey Gopoian of Florida. His generosity and charisma were legendary, his valor profound.
