Isabelle Cloud, age 94, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., passed away Feb. 5, 2007, at Healthmark Regional Medical Center.
She was born on April 13, 1912, in Walton County, Fla., to Jesse and Margaret Johnson Cotton. Mrs. Cloud was a lifelong resident of Walton County. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church. She loved people, and one of her most favorite pastimes was talking on WZEP Radio with " Art and Marty." She was a very loving wife and a friend to all who knew her.
Mrs. Cloud was predeceased by her father and mother; her husband, Lewis Cloud; four sisters, Idell Davis, Ruthie Nowling, Katheline Wood and Ibra Hutto; and four brothers, Jack, Russell, Bill and Aubrey Cotton.
Mrs. Cloud is survived by her nieces, Odell Whiddon and husband Frank, Margaret Howard and husband Grover, and Hilda Ballard and husband Harry; nephews, Lee Hutto Jr. and Charles Hutto, all of DeFuniak Springs; a host of nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews; and two special great-great-greatnephews, Mason and Noah Laird. She is also survived by her family at Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church.
A time of visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church, 1618 Baldwin Ave., DeFuniak Springs. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Revs. Richard Murray and Owen Smith officiating.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
Burial will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery.
