The daughter of Gideon and Louisa (Hammond) Barlow.

Charlotte was 19 years of age when she married Lewis Spooner Weston, the son of Shubael and Betsey (Spooner), at Fairhaven, MA on Oct 14, 1853. There are no known children born to Charlotte and Lewis.

Her husband Lewis was serving as a Private in Co. E of the 18th Massachusetts Infantry in Virginia when Charlotte died at 30 of uterine cancer.
