Dorothy Alzubaydi, (Rankin) died December 13, 2016 at the age of 72. She leaves her loving husband, John of 50 years; four children, Sam (Olga) Alzubaydi of Midland, Mike (Xia) of Alpharetta, GA, Jean (Keith) Bennett of Marietta, GA, and Todd of Stutgart, Germany; three grandchildren, Alicia and Michael Jr. Alzubaydi and Ian Bennett. Dorothy was an officer for 15 years with the Lansing Chapter NSDAR, serving as membership chairmen, registrar, corresponding secretary, treasurer and many additional committees. Dorothy was also a member of MMGS, and Friends of the Library of Michigan.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the Okemos Community Church, 4734 Okemos Rd, Okemos, MI 48864.
