Mrs. Adelaide G. Banks, 70, of 2225 Smith Street died at 4:15 pm yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital, where she had been a patient several hours.
A native of Uniontown, Alabama, Mrs. Banks came to Fort Wayne in 1956. She was a member of the Progressive Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mittie Brown, and Mrs. Arnelia Moore, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Melinee Reed, Chicago; three sons, Jesse and Lee, Detroit, and Theodore, Chicago; 20 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The body is at Micheaux Funeral Home.
