Mr. Charles T. Justice, a native of Crisfield who has been residing in Pheonixville, Pa., for about 40 years, died in the Phoenixville General Hospital Friday of last week, following a brief illness. He was 78 years of age.
Born in Crisfield, he was the son of the late Littleton and Mary Mister Justice. In Phoenixville he was employed as a guard in a Pennsylvania institution.
Some months ago he visited relatives here and seemed in good health. He was a courteous, kindly man, with a host of friends, both here and in his adopted city in Pennsylvania.
Funeral services were held in the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home here on Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Addison L. Smith, pastor of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. Burial was in the Crisfield cemetery.
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Edith Pruitt of this city, and several nephews and nieces.
