DE SOTO/EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Aja Marie Audetat, 23, of Eau Claire and formerly of DeSoto, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, in Eau Claire.

She was born on March 3, 1983, in La Crosse to Daniel and Peggy (Clements) Audetat. She graduated from De Soto High School in 2001, where she was active in gymnastics, volleyball, softball and cheerleading. She was a true social butterfly. Aja graduated from The Beauty School in La Crosse and worked as a beautician. She enjoyed live music and being with her many friends.

Aja is survived by her parents, Daniel and Peggy Audetat; two brothers, Zachery and Aubrey Audetat; and a nephew, Julien Audetat. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Don and Marie Clements of Readstown, Wis., paternal grandparents, Alfred and Sally Audetat of Genoa, Wis.; and several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Samuel Audetat.

A visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 11, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Thorson-Reetz Funeral Home in Viroqua, Wis.
