Lorayne Fleet, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2017. She was born May 7, 1921 to Paul and Rubye Adams in Iuka, Mississippi. She married Samuel Aubrey Fleet, Jr. (Tony) raised three children: Susan, Sam, and Sally.

Longtime member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church, she was active in the Kumdoublers Class, the Lunch Bunch, and helped write the church history.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony and her son, Sam.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Middleton and husband Richard, daughter Sally Pawsat and husband David, grandchildren Andrew Middleton and wife Amy, Patrick Middleton and wife Leigh, Kathryn Mikeska and Brooks Pawsat, and one great granddaughter, Aubrey Middleton. She is also survived by her sister, Hazel Lee, niece Donna Strieb, husband John, and great nephew, Lawrence as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

The family wishes to thank the loving staff at the Village at Incarnate Word Extended Care.

A memorial service will be held at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church on Monday, March 6 at 10:00 AM. Memorials may be made to AHUMC.
