BELLVILLE: LINDA MARIE WILIIAMS, 67, of Bellville, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in Liberty Nursing Center of Mansfield following an extended illness.
The daughter of John Andrew and Eileen Pearl (Spiess) Henry, Linda was born May 12, 1949.
For nearly 30 years, Linda worked as a bus driver for Clear Fork Schools where she retired. She enjoyed dancing. Tender-hearted Linda had a soft spot for animals.
She is survived by her husband Les Williams of Bellville; sons James Townsend of Mansfield and John Townsend of Butler; step-daughters Tracie Williams of Mansfield and Kim (Greg) Lifer of Butler; granddaughter Jessica Townsend and great-grandchildren James and Addelynn; step-grandchildren Shad Creamer, and James and Annabelle Lifer; uncle Harold Henry of Shelby; sisters-in-law Mary (Bob) Layfield and Patricia Dion all of Bellville; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Terry Henry.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow in Bellville Cemetery. Pastor Laura White will officiate.
Memorial contributions to the Richland County Humane Society may be made through the funeral home.
